Effectiveness of demonstration on student’s performance during soccer practice.

A demonstration is a method used by teachers /coaches to convey information to the learner of soccer skills and other sports games, the demonstration is essential to inform the children as to how best to practice the skill. How can children gain or improve their skill in participating in learning soccer game and for how long do they have to train to acquire the complex skills of the game? It depends on learning the process, practice structure, the environment, the teachers/coaches, showing off techniques which are the demo for the student.
 The students will continue to develop the skills if the factors that affect learning are well-structured during practice and if the students acquired the skills needed which will allow them to enjoy the game and motivate them extrinsically or intrinsically. 

Effects of demonstration on student’s performance during soccer practice. Don't just instruct the students how to do it, show them how it's done .Demonstration method is a teaching strategy that accelerates the learning process when students observe the coach demonstrating the skill, the students can see vividly how the skill is best-performed and  input in their short term memory for processing before transferring to Long-term memory . it can later be recalled back during later for an output .   
Seeing a lot of coaches /P.E teachers teaching soccer skills to students without demonstration makes me feel sad because they are not motivating the students to have the interest in the game . 

if teachers /coaches have full in-debt knowledge of the learning process ,they should be able to accelerate motor skills learning using demonstration method during practice .

A soccer coach ,player and teacher..

My name is Oluwaseyi Olubunmi Sodiya; I am a Nigeria by nationality, I studied Teaching English as a second language, major in English Literature at the faculty of Education, the University Malaya , Kuala-Lumpur in Malaysia . A qualified soccer coach and a soccer player, after completing my secondary school level, I realised that the game of soccer was my passion; I began playing soccer as an amateur then moved up to semi –professional level. Soccer took me everywhere and I enjoyed myself as a soccer player until a huge disappointment. I knew it was the right time to choose study over Playing soccer; I enroled myself for a coaching course at the National Institute for Sports in Lagos, Nigeria and later applied for a degree Course in Malaysia. My interest was to study sports-related courses like P.E or Sports science so that I can channel my skills and sports knowledge towards the course but I was offered TESL which really changed my view and ways of thinking about Choosing careers or future jobs .I will proudly say that it has been a wonderful Journey so far studying TESL for four years at the university of Malaya.

Even though I had disappointment playing soccer in the past I still have a passion for the Game, it's difficult to hide a talent “behavior is like a smoke, you can never cover it “I am an individual that has got a passion for football and alongside with my studies, I coach soccer as a part-time job, I work with Koru Sports Academy coaching football in Alice Smith international school, Mont Kiara International School and many other International Schools in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia .Along the line, I have had the privilege of coaching different kids with a different background, culture and Kids from a rich and poor background.
 As a Soccer player, a Coach and a Teacher with my experience I should be able to help my students to understand the importance of Sports and Education as they move on in life.
Preparing myself for the next adventure in LIFE .....

Life is a dream , I just want to follow the wind and live a happy life, make a change and follow the road not taken. Who knows what lies ahead at the end of the road ? Nobody, never judge people because our fingers are not equal , we all have a different opinion, different ways of seeing things and different destination in life .Take your own course and follow your adventure . Leaders of tomorrow..Or tomorrow is yet to come.

In 1983, Bamanga Tukur was the Governor of the defunct Gongola State (now Adamawa & Taraba) and 30 years later, he is today the Chairman of the ruling Party, The PDP. 

Dr Bello Halliru was commissioner in the Old Sokoto State (now Sokoto, Kebbi & Zamfara) and 33 years after he is today Minister of Defence . 

Major General David Mark(red) was the military governor of Niger State in 1984 and 28years later he is today the Senate President.

Gov. Murtala Nyako was the governor of Niger State in 1976 and 36years later he is today the Governor of Adamawa State.

Ogbonnaya Onu was governor of Abia State in 1992 and 20years after he is today the National Chairman of ANPP.

Gov. David Jonah Jang was the governor of Benue State in 1985 and 27years after he is today the governor of plateau state, and Martins Elechi the Ebonyi State Governor is over 80 years old!

Only in Nigeria is this possible, where the youth of today has no hope into the future! Where do we go from here?

People Deceive People (PDP), 1985, IBB was the president of Nigeria and our teachers told us that Buhari was the former Head of the state.Our teacher also called us "the leaders of tomorrow".. 27years later, IBB and Buhari are still contesting for Presidency.Its either our teacher lied to us about being the leaders of tomorrow..Or tomorrow is yet to come.

Who's fooling who?
Some of us ran out of the country,Obasanjo went abroad chasing them,telling all nations to deport Nigerian youths. Let's stand and fight for our right cos we are the leaders of Today... Pls, let all youth come to an alliance and fight for the unborn. We can't continue like this.

What is Education ? Do we have to be well educated, full of knowledge and ideas to be successful in Life ? Is education the only door that can be open to success ?  YES to all questions , to be successful in whatever we are doing in life we need good Education , good knowledge helps us to be able to identify , solve problems and manage positions that can make every individual to be successful in life  .

  

People use power to get whatever they want in order to be a successful human being on earth , they kill , rape , murder ,organise crime ,they use the innocent ones as ladder to get to the top, they are powerful ,they are dangerous ,they use our religions of peace and harmony to divide our people and our world , they breeds hatred among us ,they took away our peaceful heart and gave us violence ,it's all because of their own greed's ,their quest for power, their selfish interest , they are everywhere among us , they are the politicians ,the so called leaders , they have ruined  my motherland a country that is full of honey,glory,wisdom,knowledge,religions,tradition ,culture,happy people with love for music ,fashion ,enjoyment and entertainment  .

Democracy! Power to the people ! Power for the people ! By the people, but because they don't understand the meaning of DEMOCRACY . They deprived their citizens of their right to freedom , peace and harmony , our quest for a democracy turn for a gift of dictatorship , they put themselves in power and use it as an opportunity for their own selfish interest to be successful , they put their family in positions even thou he/she doesn't know what to do by holding the office , they have handicapped the youth in the society , poor education , poor infrastructures , diseases , lack of opportunities to stay at

the cutting edge of global technology and compete with other developing nations .
